portrait shoots

Our photoshoot for RNA Guardian was a focused studio session designed to create a versatile portrait portfolio for their business launch.

Each of the three individuals were photographed for 1.5 hours, giving us time to experiment with various backgrounds and lighting setups to capture the brand’s essence.

The variety of backgrounds allowed us to offer the client a mix of formal and casual shots for different professional needs and our range of colours meant we could shoot with their company colours in mind.

In the studio

RNA come to the Captivate studios where we had access to our full range of studio lighting. Here we could use a range of lighting techniques to adjust the mood, from soft, diffused lighting to more dramatic setups.

Reflectors and white boards could soften or intensify shadows depending on the needs of the subject, enhancing their features. This flexible setup allowed us to capture natural, confident expressions, reflecting RNA Guardian’s personality.

We used multiple lenses to capture close-up headshots and wider shots, providing RNA Guardian with a range of images for various uses; the final collection being diverse enough to give them a suite of images to effectively represent their brand as they launch.

Hidden Edits

For all of our portrait sessions the client can select a series of images for a deep retouch to perfectly edit each image. Our skilled editors will use their years of experience in Photoshop to seamlessly remove any blemish, correct any bad hair day and even replace any wardrobe malfunction requested by the client.

All of these images have been retouched and as you can see those retouches are completely invisible.
