A big light for a big job

In addition to our standard event photography package we were asked to set up a glossy portrait corner in front of some giant white angel wings built especially for the event.

In order to create most glossy looking image it was suggested that we bring one of our largest umbrella softboxes measuring 6 feet across. This creates a very large, even light across all subjects regardless of the amount of people in the shot.

We arrived with plenty of time to set up the softbox and 2 rear rim lights to really give the images the most premium quality. Our photographer spent the first hour capturing the start of the event before moving over to the angel wings to start capturing all the guests in all of their costumes.

Instant Access

The client had also asked for the images to be accessible as early as possible so we sent an editor along to the shoot to live edit all of the images taken throughout the event. All images were uploaded to our portal which could be accessed using a QR code we had provided the client before the shoot. The QR codes had been printed and displayed all over the event so the guests to get their photos almost instantly.

A Premium FInished Product

With a full lighting set up and a live editor, all of the guests at the event felt they were getting an incredible experience and being able to leave with their photo immediately meant they left the event with a huge smile on their face. The client had supplied us with the event logo and their own so every photo could be branded making each photo a marketing opportunity as well, all of which we were able to offer them in house.
